Our two-shot silicone-thermoplastic molding allows bringing high-quality, low-cost components to the market faster. Parts are traditionally molded individually and assembled as one completed component; however Saint-Gobain molds both a silicone and thermoplastic part in one press, and in one process. 

 

Saint-Gobain provides a strong expertise in extrusion, from small, thin parts with very demanding tolerances, to larger complex profiles. Our unique, longstanding experience and know-how help us to take on the most demanding designs or to add features when needed: extrusion with reinforcement (strings for example) or co-extrusion with two hardness or two different materials.

 

From welded or glued corners, to frames, to metallic hooks or any others kind of assembly such as one sided or doubled sided tapes for easy to install or in some conditions perform dynamic sealing, our willingness to design to function will clearly add value on your supply chain, on your process, on your equipment…
