The Bulk Chemical Delivery System (BCDS) is a subdivision of the chemical distribution system and geared toward achieving a higher flowrate. Cleanliness, inertness and robustness are still a major concern but specific efforts are made not to compromise the flow performance due to material types (aka Fluoropolymer) that must be used. Achieving flowrate in the neighborhood of 100 lpm sometimes with viscous and/or dense chemistry require specific adaptations in terms of component size, orifice and design. Such high flow requirements combined with very corrosive acid are also the day to day requirement of the flat panel display manufacturing.
