Inkjet printing requires storage cartridges and a peristaltic pump or pumps to dispense inks through flexible tubing to the printer head. Since most of the inks are evaporative and transferred in liquid form, pump and transfer tubing must have a high-temperature rating, low permeation and great chemical compatibility – especially for solvent-based inks.
